Giant Cycling?
Maybe you've heard Giant Bicycles? It's a worldwide bicycle company dedicated to the sport of cycling and to innovation in bicycle manufacture. The thought of Giant Bicycles gets your imagination going, though, doesn't it?
Maybe there are giant cycling clubs, where all the giants get together and share tips about where to find extra large helmets. Giant cycling clubs could also be cycling clubs with thousands of members, meeting in stadiums and planning demonstrations to take over city streets in an effort to reduce global warming.
What about giant cycling events? Would that be very long bicycle rides - maybe coast to coast rides, or riding from one end of the TransAmerican Highway to the other? Or would it be races between those giant cycling clubs? Can't you envision a huge group of multicultural (green, purple, blue and yellow) giants in big helmets cycling through your local park?
Think of giant cycling fund-raisers. What would giants raise money for? Vegetable farmers? The ONE Campaign to stop world hunger? Now we have a huge, multicultural, big-helmeted group of giants cycling down the TransAmerican Highway to raise money to stop world hunger. (I'd pay to see that, wouldn't you?)
Maybe they could hold giant cycling safety events. They could teach very small humans about bicycle safety and sponsor a free helmet give-away. It would be a way for the giants to give back to the community and to offset their image as big, mean, people-eating monsters.
Maybe Giant Bicycles should see if they can find some giants and host some giant cycling events. And maybe they could get together with Yeti Bicycles and find some yetis?....
