POKEMON GAMES

My son loves POKEMON games. I know the score. His Charzard is level 100. He has conquered all Pokemon games from Pokemon Blue and Pokemon Red to Pokemon Emerald, Pokemon Sapphire, Pokemon Leaf Green and Pokemon Fire Red. He plays them over and over, but he is bored with them. The elite four, no longer a challenge. What more could there be? What Pokemon games are next?

He knows the answer to that and I do too. Next on the list of Pokemon games are Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. But they won't play on his GBA (Game Boy Advanced). Thank goodness Christmas is coming! I won't have to think too hard this Christmas, his big gift, and all the little ones, are covered with his one true wish. More Pokemon games.

The big gift is of course a Game Boy DS. This is the unit required to play the latest Pokemon games. After researching the DS a little, I decide to go with the DS Lite. It has a dual, screen, stylus control and can connect wirelessly to the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection. This will be an important feature for the new Pokemon games.

Next, wrapped separately of course, will be two Pokemon games; Pokemon Pearl and Pokemon Diamond. These games take place in a new world, Sinnoh. He will be able to play trusty old Pokemon like Munchlax and Weavile but he will also train new Pokemon like Manaphy. These new Pokemon games and characters will bring a smile on Christmas for many days after.

A smaller gift will be the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector. This will allow my son to play Pokemon games, trade Pokemon, and engage in Poke battles with "friends" world wide. I hope a world wide playground will him see how small the world really is. Pokemon games for Christmas, it's a done deal!
