Motivation as a Vital Managerial Function

The value and significant of motivation seem not to be understood among managers of various organizations in the today's management.

Motivation plays a very important role if a company's goal and objective must be achieved.

MOTIVATION: below are the advantages of motivation written bold in capital letters.

  1. IT ENHANCES THE PRODUCTIVITY OF THE COMPANY.
  2. IT IMPROVES QUALITY.
  3. IT ENHANCES BOTH HUMAN AND ORGANIZATIONAL GROWTH.
  4. IT ENHANCES UNITY AMONGST THE COMPANY'S EMPLOYEES.
  5. MOTIVATION as a strong and vital tool should not be over emphasis in any managerial dealings.

    It should be channeled where and when necessary. The manager must be careful to ensure the motivators are not posted to where they are not prevalent and relant.

    It is obvious that employees' motivation varies(that is what motivates employee A might not motivate employee.

    The manager(s) must be intimated on the vital roles and significance of motivation as a tool in a manager's hand. When this tools(motivators)are properly implemented, the resultant effect is always appreciated, because it brings about promotion to the organization(s) involved.

    When this tools are adopted and used by the manager, the employees would need minimal supervision and would not wait to be ask for to do and accomplish his task. This tools will serve as a driving force to stir up the employee's willingness and interest to work and serve effectively in his or her capacity within the organizational goals and objectives to achieve.

    I hereby beseech the managers to recognizes and use carefully, these tools(motivators) without any atom of delay.
